Worthing Golf Club

The Club

Founded in 1905, Worthing Golf Club occupies a commanding position on the slopes of the South Downs providing wonderful scenery across the Downs and English Channel.

With a long and fascinating heritage, Worthing Clubhouse has been home to many golfing successes and stories and has seen many changes of the courses, captains, the culture and the game itself over the years.

With two well-draining 18 hole courses that are seldom closed and fantastic practice facilities, there’s plenty of challenge and variety for both the experienced golfer and those new to the game.

The courses are surrounded by a variety of over 50 species of trees including field maple, yew, horse chestnut, sycamore and juniper. The land is thriving with wildlife including a family of deer and the recent addition of our very own beehive. The rich variety of bird life provides a beautiful chorus to accompany your golf - listen out for the song thrush, skylark, green woodpecker and kestrel.

The Clubhouse is the hub of social activity amongst members and guests. Whether you’re looking to relax with a coffee or breakfast before a round, enjoy lunch and a drink with friends after a round,  or even attend a social event, there’s always a warm welcome from our friendly team.

There is a great menu of meals and snacks available in the Clubhouse, and we can cater for events and private functions. We have a wonderful and committed catering team who pride themselves on using fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
