1. Green Fees

During the Christmas Period - Wednesday 25th December 2024 through to Thursday 2nd January 2025, no Visitors are able to book a round on either course, due to member participation levels. We look forward to welcoming visitors from 2nd January onwards.

Colt (Lower) Course

Member's Guests: Weekdays: After 10am. Weekends: Sunday's after 11am. Guests will need to ask the Member to book.

Visitors: Visitors are welcome after 11am Monday to Friday, or on Sundays after 11am, subject to availibility and can only book 6 days in advance. Please call the Pro Shop on 01903 260801 option 1 to book a tee time. You must have a CDH number and recognised handicap in order to play.

County Card: County Card holders are welcome after 11am Monday to Friday and can only book 6 days in advance. All players CDH number's will be checked when booking and the County Card app must be shown on arrival in order to gain the discounted rate. Please call the Pro Shop on 01903 260801 option 1 to book a tee time.

Vardon (Upper) Course:

Member's Guests: After 10am midweek and after 11am at the weekends. The member will make the booking.

To Book a Green Fee:

If you are playing with a Member, then the Member will book your tee time for you.

We have the benefit of being on chalk downland providing excellent drainage and year round playability.

We look forward to welcoming you to Worthing Golf Club.

We do ask that for your own enjoyment and that of others you observe the normal Rules of Etiquette relating to speed of play, you repair your pitchmarks on the greens and observe the Club's Dress Code.

Buggy Use @ Worthing

Worthing only allows approved buggies on the course, due to the terrain and the many slopes on both courses.

Only four wheeled buggies with twin seats, either petrol or electric can be used.

Buggies can be hired from our Pro Shop by calling 01903 260801 option 1, subject to availability. You are welcome to bring your own 4-wheeled, approved buggy to the club, so long as you give us advance notice and confirm you have the required insurance.

The following are not to be used on the courses or clubs land at any time:

single seater buggies, irrespective of the number of wheels
scooters
surfboard models

2. Worthing Golf Club Opens 2025

Our 2025 Opens will appear here in January 2025.

Mixed Open: Thursday 26th June 2025.

4BBB Mixed pairs. Coffee & Bacon Roll, 18 holes on the Colt (lower) course followed by a Two Course Meal. Entry @ £140 per pair. Member pairs @ £100 per pair. Please click here for further details and to enter

Junior Open: Thursday 24th July 2025.

Individual 18 hole Stableford for Boys (up to 28.4 hdcp) & Girls (up to 36.4 hdcp). Scratch and Handicap Prizes for Boys & Girls. A Sussex Order of Merit event and Justin Rose/Daily Telegraph Qualifier. Food to follow. Entry must include Parental Consent form. Seniors Open: Thursday 7th August 2025.

Individual competition with visitor and member prizes. Secondary team competition with a maximum of 1 WGC member. Men's Open: Friday 8th August 2025. 36 hole Scratch & Handicap.

Individual 36 hole Stableford played on both courses for visitors and members. A Sussex County Golf Scratch Order of Merit event. Scratch competition for the Cissbury Trophy. Handicap competition for the Bennett Cup. Coffee & Bacon Roll, Ploughmans lunch, Spicy Chicken Burger & Fries afterwards. Lady Captains Charity Day: Thursday 11th September.

18 hole Bowmaker Stableford in teams of 3 (best 2 scores to count), played on the Colt (lower) course. Maximum of 1 WGC member per team. Coffee on arrival, 18 holes and Two course meal, with prizes. Entry fee of £165 per team. Please click here for further details and to enter.

2025 Worthing GC Pro-Am

Worthing Golf Club is proud to launch a brand new Pro-Am, played on Friday 30th May. 18 holes with a PGA Professional, Coffee & Bacon Roll on arrival, BBQ afterwards with a shotgun start. 3. Society packages for 2025

Society packages are available throughout the year on Thursday's only. We welcome groups of individuals to enjoy a day of golf on our superb course and enjoy the friendly Clubhouse atmosphere.
